I try not to shy away from using my watches no matter what I do. This is me on site paving.... what about you?
Im medium I suppose, taking a somewhat calculated approach. Also depends on which watch. My Speedy I like keeping shiny and new looking, my BB 58 don't mind it slowly developing character. I use them, but don't abuse them.
Mine too. Diving instructor in Thailand and the Philippines. Watch has done thousands of dives. Used a my backup timer. The pic is about 10 years old, but you can see the watch. Currently being serviced because I guess I finally got some moisture inside a few years ago. Just recently pulled it out of the drawer and sent it in. When I get it back, I will continue to wear it everywhere for all activities. It's a working watch for me, not an investment. Michael
Hell yeah! I never baby these things - they were made to be used. Here I am about to jump into some extreme high tea:
Ha! This was quite a few years ago. I probably took this pic with the same rig I used underwater. A normal digital camera with a waterproof casing. Probably should have removed it from the case before I had someone snap this shot... Or at least wiped it better. Actually, um, well, I wanted the watch to be the focus, not me. Yah, yah, that's it.
I use my X-33 quite a bit. Beginning at 0330, I use it to make coffee by perking it on the stove. Most days I wind up with at least one impromptu meeting. I set them up on the PET. Once you've done it a few times, it's easy to set them up. Of course when monitoring welders, I use the timer to verify their travel speed.
Love the sea bird sitting next to the boat hoping that you will throw the fish to him, nice fish and an even better watch
