I understand Wyler was quite an innovative company in the area of waterproofing and shock proofing. I recall reading they would drop a watch off the Eiffel Tower as a demo. I also have it in my head - things there are often incorrect, ask Mrs. ahsposo and she'll confirm this - that they came up with the concept of the unishell case, or top loader. I've been tempted by a few but sadly never pulled the trigger on one. Your collection makes me regret that. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
Never much paid attention to them before, but that may have to change. Nice post. That second one is crazy cool, but the first for some reason stands out. I love that coin edge bezel and the squareish-cushiony case. Nice.
I will once again challenge bubba48 to come up with some sort of cool vintage watch that he/she (no assumptions here) does not own
I have one at home, when it was owned by the Italian Vetta and they were doing Wyler Vetta. Great watch!
Sure do! Used to own this excellent example Dynawind triple date... One of the watches I regret selling!
