White Gold is rare and I know there won't be many members join this thread but I would like to create a thread for members who own a white gold Omega. Please show off yours. Here's my 18k De Ville (18k dial, too)
I gave this one to my mother some years ago: I think I paid <$100 for it. That included the original box, which I kept for other uses. gatorcpa
We have 4. My spouse has two 14-karat white gold Omega Sapphettes from the 1960s, one14-karat white gold Gruen from circa the late 1920s, and I have a 14-karat white gold Elgin "opera" watch from the mid 1920s.
A 14kt white gold Lucien Piccard Sea Shark from the late '50s/early '60s lives here, acquired because I just liked the styling and the white gold and wanted one white gold watch in the menagerie. \ Would prefer a while gold Omega or Longines.
A typically poorly lighted indoor photo. I'll do better one day. Wished I knew something about its movement. Who made it for LP. I'm only guessing on it's age and wish I knew when it was made. Seems to be a good, accurate, trouble-free watch. Don't wear it too often.
that's a 20/30's fashion thing. the combination of white and yellow or green and yellow gold. love it
They are around but I find that they are more common in yellow gold. If they were just a bit bigger, they would be a nice watch to wear.
Hi, Marvelous watch. I remember you already posted it some time ago, but I couldn't find the thread so I'm not sure if I suggested a reference for this one. I would propose ref 901, here in a 1930 catalog, with a caliber 19.4 (and a strap nobody would dare to put on such a beauty nowadays!!!) :
