Two-three years back I was debating on buying a vintage Seamaster 300 or Watchco version. I did decide to go with a Watchco SM300 and they had many in stock and were selling them direct or on ebay, and prices were $1950-2150 per watch including a mesh bracelet.

It appears these are now very difficult to find and prices are $2,500-3,000 range for the Watchco version and even higher for vintage depending on condition.

No idea what drove these prices and I am wondering if the same thing happens with the SHOM.

I actually very much enjoy the SHOM....should it be required that all postings have at least one pic, lol.

Omega raised the prices for the case tremendously. Hence the price increases in the newer "Watchco Types"
