Obviously, when a seller asks for SUPER TOP dollar, the bracelet, advertised for a 2915, should be vintage original and perfect in every way. This item is not because:
The bracelet is missing a springy link. It should have 5.
The #6 end links appear to match the aftermarket Asian variety.
A 2915 bracelet would have been fitted with the first generation #6 end links, which had a single notch. These are double notch.
The 2915s were produced from 1957-1958 and had the earliest 7077s, which did not carry an engraved date. This bracelet, engraved 3/59 (3rd quarter, 1959) is more appropriate for the early 2998s.

No, he must be thinking "Yeah man! This is gonna sell for full asking price soon!". :p

Too bad there isn't a Make Offer option. I'd see if he'd take a dollar.

Made my day, I'd stick 3 likes on it but the system won't allow too much happiness.

For less than half the price of this ebay one, you could have a legit one here...
