Do I buy...

So I'm looking to pick up a Rolex Milgauss. I found a non AD watch dealer who bought one from an AD. The watch is new, but old stock dating to 2007.
Question is, What happens to warranty coverage... When do I need servicing.
The watch is being sold at around 25%off, is it worth the money or do I spend another 15% for new from AD?
Thanks all

Whatever the outcome of all the warranty related questions (ask Rolex about those) if the watch is a 2007 model, it needs to be serviced. If they provide you with full warranty, wear it for a while and then send it in. If the AD or Rolex tells you there's no warranty for some reason, then get them to service it before you take delivery, or walk away and get a "fresh" one.

Cheers, Al

I would assume that the warranty starts from the inservice date aka the sales date just like a car. But as others have noted ask Rolex, If you get a discount and a service out of it I see no issue at all. If its unworn and not in action then no wear on mechanism and a service will refresh all gaskets and oil. Win win to me, esp since 2007 was the first year of the reissue.

Love my Milgauss. Bought it pre owned and have had no issues. Good luck.
