Hi was suprised to see this bracelet from fixoflex whit 19 mm endpices and signed Longines and patentnr , belive it to be early 60s. Grateful for any info
Actually, several references could match that. Bracelets were dealer options back then. You bought the watch head, then decided what strap or bracelet you wanted - either factory or aftermarket that the dealer had. Seen that on Silver Arrows, Conquests, and I think even an Admiral or two.
Do not worry Skrotis - most of the guys here with English as their first language are illiterate. The rest are just tactless... One thing you should worry about is having 160 posts and 751 likes - but no avatar!
That's me! Loquacious, yet tactless - see my avatar message. There have been several occasions where I thought of assigning him an avatar, but thought better of installing the picture that "skrotis" made me think of.
I can imagine your picture... Skrotis in Swedish is a friendly nickname for someone who scraps cars or own/work a scrap yard.
i guess after 15 years in the auction trade you find your home turned in to a scrapyard but i like it and a lot of odd things. Regarding avatar i fela a bit woried of some of the suggestions and i try to do something today.
Oh - that avatar is perfect! The ones here who know who those guys are can be counted on one hand. Perfect.
