Ok, I don't like the fact that he's using the Dark Side Of The Moon as part of his advertising pitch, but as a watch, what do you guys think of this? Normally I'm fairly against DLC, especially on Rolex, but for some reason, this appeals to be a bit, and I don't mind it. I wouldn't pay no $5k for it... but as a watch that looks cool, if I had a 3570.50 or a 3573.50 that hadn't been worn its an interesting option. http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-Speed...210405553?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item20e0cbcab1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I don't mind DSM, but this has too much of a Black and White thing going on for me. Like a Victorinox
If the price is still affordable (e.g. below USD 2500) then probably it is not too bad buy. And you can always sell it later with not too much loss if you are bored with it.
I think the bracelet hurts the look throw it on leather or a cool carbon fiber and you may have a good look!
Agree - the bracelet makes it look cheap. It reminds me of those plastic fashion watch bracelets you see girls (mostly) wearing... That being said, as a few people have mentioned - throw it on a leather/Kevlar strap and you might be onto a winner! If you're after something unique it could be a great buy; you could potentially look at swapping out hands or dial to something that better suits the black DLC case?
I wonder what Omega would do if you send that watch in for maintenance?? I could imagine that they would not touch it. From all I heard, that don't support modding of their watches.
I think with a Panda dial it would make a very interesting watch but with its standard dial I dont really like it. When I first saw the DSOM I thought wow but the more I looked at that watch the less I liked it, I have a feeling that this watch would go the same way
