In Glasgow we have "The running clock" officially known as the Clyde clock as it was sponsored by a local radio station, surprisingly called "Radio Clyde"
Now I admit I love this piece of modern street furniture but it sure splits opinions.
Anything similar round the globe ? and what do you think of it?

I have spent 30 minutes on YouTube trying to find Kath and Kim saying "it's noice, different, un-ewe-su-el" without success. But the Aussies will get my drift

"Fork in the Road" that's my sense of humour
In defence of Glasgow, it is a beautiful city but like most just not everywhere.

Now there's a clock I recognize! Ol' Gassy Jack may not be as avant-garde as the running clock in the first post, but it's still a neat little landmark. Many people seem to think it's older (ie from the founding days of Vancouver), but 1977 is bang on.

This is in Sydney. Good about the road signs, because any artistic merit was not immediately obvious

    Lol
I was a bit confused when you said Sydney was good about the road signs - they usually work or the "ha ha" principle of putting the road sign just that little bit too late for you to be able to change lane/take the exit - so you always know where you should have gone!
