Ok I recently bought a new Omega Seamaster 300m the new 42mm version. I've watched reviews and it shows people using the diver's extension on the bracelet. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to extend. I see which side it's suppose to extend from and I've tried applying pressure from every angle to get it to come loose but it won't budge. I'm obviously doing something wrong. I don't want to risk damaging it and reading the manual is no help. It just shows pictures and doesn't actually tell you how to get it extend. The same is true with searching online. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Can anyone help? Thanks.

It can be pretty tight when new. Try extending the links all the way out with the push button, then apply downward force. You won’t break it

Thanks for the reply. I have tried it both extended and not extended and it still seems really tight. I'm just making sure I"m not missing something.

Just curious, in how many steps is the clasp adjustable? only 2? If so, you could get your AD adding back one of the (half-)links to the bracelet that were removed at delivery and then see how it fits.

Do you plan to use the diver’s extension, or are you just fiddling with the watch to see how every part works?

if it’s the latter, I’d just ignore the diver’s extension and enjoy the watch. It’s pretty useless, even for wearing over a wet-suit unless it’s a really thick one.

I was of opinion that the new adjustable SMP clasps don't have an additional extension for diver suits or was this just with the clasps for the new Speedy?

I figured it out. Just was a little stuck. I didn't want to put too much pressure on it, but it came loose eventually. Thanks everyone.

The white one is a real stunner. Got opportunity to get hands on in Heathrow last week but unfortunately missed to proof on the question whether a additional diver suit extension was on place or not. But now have to confess, from than it‘s on the top of my priority list.

    Congrats to it!!!

Yes I agree. You have to see it in person. Looks even better. There’s so many options with the Seamaster that it’s tough to choose with so many options. But when I saw this one I knew immediately.

I didn't know that the lume on the minute hand is green. That's very cool. A great looking watch.
