Were dive watches without a seconds hand a thing? I'm considering the above watch because the bezel and dial are unusual, but I've never seen a dive watch without a seconds hand.

Dont know about the missing hand but that’s a ladies watch. Look at the size of the crown

    Ladies fashion piece.

No running seconds is a serious safety issue on a dive watch. It’s why all dive watches have lollipops or other large lumed surface on the seconds hand so you know the watch was still running and keeping you safe.

Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks! I thought a dive watch sans seconds hand was off, but wasn't sure.

Not all - as long as there is an indicator that the watch is running, it doesn't have to be a seconds hand...
