Hi Everybody,

I'm a little concern about my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Big Size (232.30.46.21.01.001).
I found a little "white thing" inside the Movement and I don’t know if I should worry and take it to the Omega shop for cleaning or just leave it.
I have tried to shake the watch to see if the "white thing" moves but it doesn't. I don't know what it is.
Is it normal?
What do you recommend me?

Something is stuck in the lubricant. I say have it removed.

Can you believe that is an almost new watch? It has never been opened.

 

As Forrest Gump said: "Shit happens." There's still human error involved - that's why we have warranties.

 

It happens, and yes I would get Omega to remove it - hopefully you can take it somewhere that they have someone on staff who can simply open it up and remove it, rather than sending it off to a service center.

Speaking of debris, I opened a Speedmaster recently that's in the shop for debris under the crystal, and found a few things inside the movement too....





And once again, a very dirty escape wheel as this video shows...

This one will be getting a full service....
