Always feel like a good journey has been lost when buying a full set like this.

My thought is generally that the person who buys a lot like this generally already has a large fraction of the dozen, and that he is buying the lot to supplement what he has, replace a few of them, and sell of the rest piecemeal. It seems unlikely that someone launches into WWW collecting by buying a full set.

A couple of hands-issues (in my non-expert opinion) but it'd sure be fun to have a whole set. If only I had a spare 30k laying around.

I may be incorrect, but I have a feeling that this might be the other way around. If correct, the seller already has a complete stellar set.

I guess I don't understand your point. Obviously the seller is selling a complete set, but at the risk of repeating myself, it's likely to me that a typical buyer of a lot like this might already have some very nice WWW examples that they would prefer to keep over the ones in the set. I only looked through quickly, and mostly the watches look nice. But even as someone who is not a dirty dozen expert I was able to notice a few things that were not totally correct and some condition issues.

Apologies, looking back what I wrote was a little unclear.
A while ago I had a conversation with a dealer who specialises in these and I remember him telling me he was working to put together a second set of these for a client. One would be sold and one kept.
