    Hi Everyone,

It been almost one year since I started collecting vintage watches and military watches just took me over. Based on my study on this forum threads below is what I was able to find/collect.

So given where I am, I think I need help/feedback from the forum members on where I should focus next.

Thank you all for responding in advance.

Edit: @Tubber reminded me of some I missed. Added pictures.

Just wow! Beautiful watches... And more than a dirty dozen, if I counted right. :)

    But where's the OMEGA?

    'Focus next'? ;)

    Love your Lemanias!

    Zenith Cairelli? Hanhart/breitling 817?

Well! I'm not sure if you've started focusing on vintage rolexes, but ... if you do ... sorry about your wallet !

No, I have not. The worst part of them is that after spending so much money, you are not sure if they are real. Especially me who is new to this.

Honestly I have to say that's actually very true...makes me realize I am only one toe in vintage rolex only because I am buying all my stuff from a fellow collector that was already in it before vintage watches became a thing.

typical era, time only vs chrono, milwatches only with additional provenance of combat. to me the latter is the most interesting. Proof is the cherry on the cake

Hats off to you! That is quite an impressive collection, specially to put together in less than a year.

Have you thought about going for the Czech Pilot trilogy, Lemania, Longines and Eterna?

Thank you. I think the collection is all over the place. I am not sure what those are. Can you please share a picture or two?

You are still missing a few of the DD, unfortunately the most expensive ones...I agree with what has been said above. You can focus on a particular era (WWI, between the wars, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Middle East), countries (UK, US, Germany, etc.), or models (milsub, navy divers, AF pieces, etc.). You should also ask this over at MWR; I am sure you will get a varied response!!

Oh, and when you are ready to sell, I like your Fab Four! Dibs if no one else has...

    You've got some great Watches!

    Two watches come to mind.

The first is the Benrus type I diver. I really love the sterile look of it and it's just such a unique dial/case setup with the assymetric case style.

The second is the Hamilton 308 Bomb timer. I just think it's such an interesting piece which had such a unique and unassuming feature to close a circuit and be used as a detonation device.
