Good one...... and indeed there is a shortage of watch cartoons.............Anyways I must go now....I'am getting sleepy.
While funny, that cartoon illustrates why you never tell people how much your watch costs..... especially nerdy engineers who wear Casios.
Don't you think that's why Rolex is so popular? You don't have to tell that your watch is expensive. You can assume everyone knows....... unless they then think that your watch is replica..........then casio is a better bet. Cheers,
I know for a fact that there are some guys here who have single watches worth far more than me dollar wise. And, I'm ok with that.
Dilbert is my favourite - I swear (as I'm sure many others do) that they patterned it after my workplace when I was working as a project engineer. Never wore a Casio, but did wear a Rolex for a while...but long gone... Dilbert and The Far Side were commonly seen comics in the engineering department. Since I've become a watchmaker, this one seems appropriate: Cheers, Al
I had a tie like that, didn't matter what I did to the damn thing, it wanted to stick out. And, yes, as the junior guy in the engineering group, I wore a Seiko! Ahhhh...... fond memories!
