Hi Everyone, I got an email from Sala recently with a link to purchase a new 282 page digital compilation of all the UG adverts that he has, it looks like the document becomes viewable online, you don't get a PDF emailed to you, etc. Anyhow for 8 euros I was thinking to purchase, just wondered if anyone else here has done so, and might have any thoughts? thx!
It seems like a "no-brainer." After all, 282 pages of inconsistencies in UG advertising compared to what UG actually produced is certain to make your head explode
Just want to add to above. The email from Mr Sala said his UG book is sold out in hardcopy but he has created an online version, selling for 27 euro. The online book of advertisements is a separate thing and sells for 8 euro. Excerpt from his email: " I decided to make a digital edition that can be browsed online, more in line with current trends, so the whole book can now be consulted anywhere via a tablet, an i-pad or a smartphone. I am also pleased to inform you that, during the lockdown, I completed a project that I had in mind for some time: to collect the Universal Geneve advertisements in a single document. From this idea a 282-page digital book was born that can be browsed online. If you are interested in these new initiatives, I invite you to consult my site "librouniversal.it" where you will find all the information to be able to have these digital publications. "
The second picture would instantly become one of my favorite watches. Dauphine hands with a cold-blooded killer of a case!! Just look at those lugs
Wow, looks like I was lucky when buying the book 2 months ago Can't wait to browse through the ads! Thanks for the link, Nico
I'm prepared to fight you for this one. I wonder how big it is... To be honest - I think this one is more likely to be advertised as a lady's watch so it could creep in under the radar.
I have many of those ads already, and will be happy to sell copies of my collection for 4€. Seriously, though, why not buy the whole digital book for 27€, rather than the ads alone for almost a third the cost?
