Difference between for sale and private sale forums?

Hi,
Newbie here, What is the difference between the two for sale threads on this forum?

Second question, Why are so many Omegas on ebay coming from Japan?

One is Private sellers, the other is dealers.

Japanese were huge buyers/collectors in the 80's and 90's...they are now selling.
Very similar in the collectable camera market.

Private sellers are permitted to only post or bump one listing per day, in the dealer section there are no limits to how many listings can be made in a day.

Private sellers are permitted to only post or bump one listing per day, in the dealer section there are no limits to how many listings can be made in a day.

And the posts in the dealer section doesn't show up in the "Latest" section.

I have noticed posts which are seemingly from dealers in Private sales. Is this OK on here, perhaps on a case by case basis? I mean am I being over picky or are people indeed abusing the system?

Do the dealers have to be verified somehow? Are all dealers in that forum okay to buy from?
