Did the Constellation Chronometer come with a Salmon color dial?

I came across an Omega SS Constellation Chronometer with a salmon color dial. Almost perfect dial but polished case. But, I did not have my reading specs and I may be very wrong about the polishing. But I walked away right away thinking it was a redial =polished watch after I saw a Salmon colored dial. I am home now and start to read up on this and think I may need to go back and at least take a pic or two.
Did Omega do a Salmon color dial with , I think 564 movement?

BTY, $1495.....That's not going to happen!!!

Internet forum rule #1: No pictures = no help. Up til now you've been given a little slack for being relatively new. That grace period is over.

You'll find the dial is refinished so maybe the trip is a waste of energy. Salmon was not a colour that appeared on any mid-500 series Constellation calibre. Sounds like this watch is an old shrew dressed up to look like a young thing!

Pics would be appreciated, because no opportunity for a chuckle should be missed :)

Not after you've seen the same "Can anyone identify / authenticate this watch?" thread with no pictures for 6 or 7 years.

Wonder how much abuse somebody would take if they went on an automotive forum and did the equivalent there? Those guys are harsh - they'd run you out of town with torches and pitchforks. (Which might be kinda fun)

Let's all attempt to get on the Antiques Roadshow by telling the appraiser one or two quick sentences about the __________ (fill in piece of furniture, vase, jewelry, etc.) we have and see if they even bother to let you near the camera.

Let's face it, leaving a balance wheel on somebody's doorstep doesn't have quite the same effect as a gearbox :p

I don't know, balance wheels probably hurt even more than Lego when stepped on :D

But yea we'll never let this place get to that stage, people come here to spend their productive workday looking at watches instead of engineering, doctoring, lawyering or whatever it is they're meant to be doing when they skive off here (we've seen ip addresses from the FBI, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, NTSB and multiple parliaments among others). It's watches they all come for, not annoying personalities, egos and fighting and we're really lucky in that we've got amazing regulars here that keep it that way, about watches, facts, and history, just the way it should be.
