Absolutely horrible fake pos. Be glad you didn’t win that.
Really? She was so nice and dint know about watches. And looking back at her feedback she never sold a watch before. and the Box looks real as well.

I sure am trying. Going to buy an omega soon. Will be my first so looking for a deal.
Without deep knowledge you are likely to be scammed if you are determined to get a deal. Just find a knowledgeable and trustworthy seller and pay a fair price.

If someone is selling a 10K watch for $250 dollars - it's a scam, not a deal.

@Big Bopper There are many alarms that should go off (besides the price).
If you look at the back of the watch it also says
- Apollo 11 (Snoopy is for Apollo 13)
- Limited edition (it's not a limited edition)
- 1/6969 Would be SUPER unlikely a 1 of watch would sell for 2% of list price

As others have suggests - knowledge is power and please educate yourself (this forum is a great place!) before spending thousands on a watch to avoid an unpleasant surprise with a purchase.

I was so stupid as to email this lady first to ask about this watch. by the time she got back to me it was gone. I emailed her and told her if who ever bought it backs out please give me second chance. He did not . He paid right away she said.

As I see it, you luckily dodged a Vickers Mk 8 113mm (4.5 inch) 55-calibre shell. 😁

More like dodging a 155mm…. OP is lucky. I once got a deal like this, but for an actual Omega. Still costs me about $1500 over value in the long run. The best deals I’ve seen so far are always on OF.

arbnbobbie:

Hi Magic,

I think it is real. Admittedly, I am no watch expert.

ebay Customer service seemed to agree with me and took down the listing. not sure the buyer can be saved though if they already paid.

Ah...a sceptic after my own heart. When hearing hoofbeats think horses not Zebras, as the medicos say.
