Bloody great catch. That is, what, half of what it would fetch in an auction? Probably more?

I really was frustrated and the seller said he didn't understand why I couldn't bid. I have the same in pink gold and it is really nice and rare.

Wasn't it actually in an auction?

He says 37 mm, but looks more like 33 mm without crown and 37 with. Not mentioned in auction, but some post with and some without

Second. With the dreaded GSP. Thats going to kill any international sales as it's hidden, but at $700. probably going to add another $250 if not more, so those bids are gone

More people saw it on Ebay than they would have in a regular auction, so at $700. it is what it is.

Probably paid half that, so anything over he's happy with.

Looks like it! I'd guess that he has, by accident, set up his auction to exclude bidders from a LOT of different countries.

You can plainly see by the relative size of the 30mm movement just how large the case is - have a look at @omegastar's: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-ref-2785.5735/

Your comment about "probably paid half that" is... Odd. How long time has it been since you've looked into vintage Omega prices? I know this isn't the first time I disagree with you on that subject ;)

In these parts, around $700 would probably not land you a jumbo 30mm Omega with a textured dial, and that's in stainless, not gold! If you should ever have a sale of your collection, let me know :D

Actually meant the seller paid half the sale price

Don't buy watches anymore off Ebay. Average watches selling for just way too much. Tend to buy movements and parts. Last Watch off Ebay. Maybe 2009

    That's what I thought, too -- redial.
