I was keeping an eye on these two on eBay. One was sold off site for an unknown price & the other ran to the end of the auction.

Wondering if anyone here was in for them...

This one had a very ambitious price, but was a full set.

This one went for a bit less than I was expecting

I like them both. I like the first one most, but pricey. The second was not bad a price and would probably clean up nicely. Both went for over what I paid recently for a 2998-6, so I prefer to hunt for bargains. I fear we have plenty of competition for these.;)

I agree Steve - the only drawback to the first was lack of original bracelet.

Bargains are great, but the European market doesn't seem to have a lot of them. As the second one was on a 7912 bracelet I was expecting it break £3000. If I had the money available I'd have been tempted to give it a shot...

Luckily I don't have the readies available at the minute :p

I don't know what the first one sold for. They ended the auction early. It was the third time listed. When it first listed I bid $3000, or I thought I did. It turns out I bid
3000. That was not a bargain! I withdrew the bid and the other high bids were also later withdrawn and then the listing ended. I wonder if there was a shill bidder. It reappeared as a BIN or BO then again as an auction. Then it disappeared. The bidding was still under ₤1000. I thought that the second one went for a fair price. I guess the 7912 bracelet was an added value. I don't care for bracelets, especially those old stretch ones. Also, the chrono second hand was incorrect. Not a deal breaker but finding one that would match the watch would be challenging.
Money, who needs money? I just charge it. LOL

Interesting. I saw it go to about £1500 on the first auction before it was relisted as BIN.
