The picture of the inside caseback was not just terrible, but problematic too.

It doesn’t look like there’s any numbers after the 105.003. Service replacement? All the other photos are reasonably in focus, but not this one.

I’d want to see better photos in neutral light and without post-snap tampering. But yeah, looks like a really nice dial.

If it is, this seller didn’t do his homework properly...

There are Speedmasters and then there are Speedmasters. An automatic Speedmaster is pretty solid. A manually wound Speedmaster Professional is solid. A manually wound Speedmaster Professional with a 321 Caliber in it is really solid. A manually wound Speedmaster PRE-Professional with 321 caliber, straight lugs and no crown guards dating to 1965 is borderline epic. ....An Ed White with blue gray dial is epic for those in the knowing

Lovely dial, I’d wager that would go for at least 3x as much if it had been an auction

I would buy this watch at that BIN price even if it didn't have a caseback...
You know what, even if it didn't have a bezel, or hands, or a crown, or pushers...

I am clearly not as impressed as you. Another photo from the same listing.

Watch in hand is how either of us would know for sure.

    Don't need it in hand.
These pix are fine for me.
I'll take it, and a dozen more of them at that price. Wrap 'em up please!

Hard to track a recent sale of one of these.
But I'd say 50-60K is a low estimate.

No kidding. Wow. No way I’d spend even half that much on it, but that’s just me.

It’s in range for a soliel dial which are 50-60k in this condition based on recent sales. Assume you 1/2 the price for a possibly wrong cb it’s still 25k and it was purchased for 12...

@ndgal knows his homework, the dial has one easy to spot charactaristic which you can say at least 95% it will be a "special" dial.
