The new Omega Lifetime magazine (Speed edition) has an article on the DSoM, GSoM and WSoM. In the write up about the DSoM it mentions the option of a "jewellery" version, with diamond set ceramic bezel, all sounds a bit OTT to me, but it goes on to say that it comes with a black leather strap with fold over clasp made from ceramic. Has anyone seen one? Is it the same strap as on the Pitch Black? If so post pictures please.

Well, would you look at that - not enough bling for a rapper, but too much for a tool watch guy. Doesn't seem to have too big of a market segment, eh?

Just had a quick look and there's a fair few Michael Kors ladies watches that are 42mm. Not a huge leap from there to 44.2; and I'm assuming that it's the MK bling step up they are going for.

Should someone remind Omega that an oblate spheroid doesn't have sides?

Anyone who bought a DSOM would be thinking WTF with all that's gone on since their purchase.

Surprised they haven't released a yellow CSOM (cheese side of the moon)
    Or
OinBSOM ( once in a blue side of the moon)

Agreed. So glad I have the original and wouldn't change it for anything. I still think it's the best looking one and if anything in several years could be the most collectable. Let's just hope they don't release a leapord Orange side of the moon lol.

Hmm - it's a common observation among some of our honourable members that some Rolex watches tend towards the vulgar, blingy and gaudy - is this a race that Omega feels compelled to join? This diamond encrusted piece of (expensive) tawdry crap is truly awful - not that I have strong feelings about it one way or another.
