If by "correct status" the seller means "distinctly different than the way the dial originally looked", then yes, I would agree.

Why on earth would anyone pay over $400 for this watch? The DayGlo luminous dots alone are, to my mind, immediately disqualifying.

Mike seems to get top dollar for his watches. Don't know why exactly other than he has decent listings.

Has issues, but to my eye the Seamaster script is as good as refinishes get...

Bought some straps from the guy. Quite happy with it. The movement does not look too bad on my iPhone screen.
I have seen a lot worse at the price.

The dial might look bad to an informed collector, but remember that most buyers want something the looks new. They probably look at original dials in poor condition, which collectors will drool over, and not understand why someone would pay anything for that...

    $508?!

Sorry, but given the number of nice, original vintage Seamasters that are available at any given time, I find that to be patently absurd.

I guess prices are on the way up then? There is obviously someone who wants that watch at that price.
At least I can not see any thing fraudulent in the listing, so the buyer can not later claim to have been fooled. Also the movement seems to be in good, and serviced, condition.
    Not my cup'o'tea though!

That is stunning, except the dots, which are a bit like an STD

The Omega Seamaster STD has the propensity for its stem to corrode if left untreated...
