Just out of interest, did you buy the example with knackered dial from lunar oyster?

Nope. Didn’t know he had one. What’s wrong with it?

He had one for ages with a dial with heavy staining and partially washed off lettering. Was quite expensive for what it is imho.

18k iirc. Had a pretty hefty ding on the bezel, too.

He told me he would sell it for 15k. The case looked to be in pretty good shape IMO. There was an eBay 145.022-69BA with a replacement dial that I think sold for around 11k usd, with the case and bracelet in slightly worse shape. Both could be great investments, but I was not confident about sourcing one of these dials. But I wish you all the luck!

Different watch it seems. Those original replacement dials must be rare as hens teeth. Bezel even worse though, you can get a DNN one but have never seen the original for sale.
