Good evening,
I’ve recently received a few dials for 50s Connies and was wondering if one of you knowledgeable gents knows the dial feet positions of bumper Connies (cal 352/354; ref 2652, 2782) vs full rotor Connies (cal 501/505; ref 2887, 2852) off the top of your heads. If I remember correctly, they’re not interchangeable so I figured the feet positions would be an easy way to distinguish between the movements.

The dials I have have feet at 11 and 5.

Thanks a lot!

Cheers
Matt

Hello 😀

I figured that using the original omega technical sheets would be good to show where the dial feet are.
I pointed them with red arrows.
You can use the crown stem as a reference for the positioning.

Not everyone here is a gent.

It gets a bit tricky with the 55x,56x and 75x. The dial feet shift about to clear the date and or day disks. So one has to be careful which dial will fit. Dial diameters tend to vary and fit the case more than the movement.

I made some laser cut acrylic disks, with the feet positions etched in. These make for great dial holders. Useful as a gauge to test random dials and see what they are.
