Hi guys,

I need your help with something that's been bugging me. If a vintage dial has been cleaned up with lemon juice or whatever is usually used to clean up a patinated dial with, should it them be re-lacquered? If so, will any watchmaker be able to do so? Can somebody help me with the correct type/brand name of lacquer needed?

I'm diving into the world of vintage of watches, and while its fascinating, its also making me wonder how much longer my watches will last! I'd like them to last another 50 years or so...
