Looks good to me. One of our members (Gavin maybe?) just bought the silver dial version for near the same price.

Thanks for the feedback. I was initially looking for one with the silver face but this version really caught my eye. The seller who seems like a straight shooter rates the watch as an 8.5 visually and says everthing except the strap is original

These are very nice watches, I have a silver one on a bracelet, can't beat the cal 861.

This one looks like a good one.

That would be me Dennis ;). That's a decent price, but a service cost need to be included. The watch was produced 1993 onward. The serial number makes people think it is 1985 watch. But Cal 861 does not follow normal Omega s/n instead it followed speedmaster pro s/n.
The watch is great, I really love it. You wouldn't regret buying it.
    Cheers
Btw the bezel and markers are white gold.

Congrats. That is a great watch. I bought one new in 2006. It was my first manual watch. It is one tough watch. Of course it has the c861 driving it. Here's what your getting:

If I would have had the funds I would have bought that too, had it on my watch list. Well done, I think it looks great

Congrats:thumbsup: Very nice. I'm hopeful of finding one as in fine condition as yours. If you pick a watch for it's movement, cal. 861's have become my favorite. I like the black dial a lot.

It's funny that I was actually looking for a chronograph with a white or cream dial.I already have a Speedmaster Pro with a black dial and I had never seen one of these before but I just jumped at it. I really like the simplicity of the dial and having another watch with the cal. 861 is a huge bonus. It's in Cincinnati now on its way to Canada and it started out in Bulgaria. Can't wait!

My watch arrived and was exactly as the seller stdenev described. It is a very beautiful looking watch and my wife LOVES it. I think its a nice alternative for when I don't want to wear my Speedmaster. Thanks for all of the help!
