·Hi,
I'm relatively new to the hobby, and so I've started by trying to learn about the watches that I find most interesting. As such, I've gravitated toward two vintage Omega watch lines, the Seamaster and the Constellation. I came across a black dial Constellation earlier today on eBay, and it mostly looks right, but the hour ticks look slightly different than any comparables. Simply put: do you all think it's legit, or could it potentially be a redial? Any resources for trying to figure this stuff out would be sincerely appreciated. (For context, the listing says it's a 1969 model.)
As a follow-up, what might a watch in this condition go for, if it's real? I've seen a lot of variation, even among the late 1960s Constellations, and it's a bit hard to tell what key factors play in determining price. Thanks again for any info/suggestions!
