correct, preferably.

I now ordered an OEM buckle - lets see when it arrives…
Indeed, keep us posted on how this works out.

You can do what I have. A blue Omega rubber strap on 18mm deployant.

thank you! Looks great! I will keep the original strap on the watch as I like the look of it.

Update to what I did - I bought an aftermarket deployment buckle from Fluco (thanks to another user on this forum) and it works a treat! I get to keep the strap that I like - but use it with a buckle!

OMEGA deployant buckle will NOT work with standard tang-buckle strap.

Look at the photo below. White strap is standard tang buckle, brown is original Omega made for deployant clasp. One half of both straps, the one on the left is OK for any buckle, no problem. The problem is on the other half. The one for tang buckle has a cut in the middle + keepers that will not work with Omega deployant. Now look at the brown one -> it's clean, has straight uncut ending and no keepers.

On the right hand side you will see two watches where the top one is with Omega deployant - note, that one part goes underneath the other. What you need is an after market butterfly clasp, that someone was showing before, or foldover clasp that you see in the right bottom of the photo - this one is made to replace pin-buckles.

Thank you - the one I ended up ordering was a Fluco buckle and it works perfectly as per the pictures.

Thanx! I was writing my post when your photos were not published, we probably created our posts simoultanously 😀

Consider the foldover clasp as mine, it works similarly to Omega -> just single foldover. With buttervly, that you have it's a two-step closing / opening.

I much prefer the single foldover deployants like that one over the 2 step butterfly deployant. Hadley-Roma makes a nice single foldover deployant as well.

I'm going a different route with this one, so praying Omega HQ decides the Netherlands will get allocation;
Hi, can you please tell me where to buy these?
