    Hi Guys,

Want to know what my options are for a deployant clasp on the pulsometer Ck2998. Love the watch and the leather strap that come with it - may change to a bracelet at a later day but now just want an Omega clasp.

    Thank you

If you are saying you want to keep the leather strap that is on it and just install an omega folding clasp, then you won't be able to because each stock strap half isn't the correct length to make it work properly. The clasp will not sit correctly where it should and will be uncomfortable (ask how I know ;) I thought I could use a reg strap in the mean time until my correct strap showed up and I went back to the bracelet cause it was very uncomfortable)

If you plan on replacing the strap as well then I do have a screen shot from WUS of the available clasp part numbers. That's what I used for the last two clasps I ordered so it was less confusion when I got the the OB (some employees are good and some employees are....... meh. I like to go in prepared)

I recently bought a deployant for my CK 2998 (blue panda) to go with a cordura strap (19x16) from an Omega Boutique. The deployant part number on my receipt is 0032CWZ003833 ($230.00 USD). 85692874-F94D-4C86-B7FE-6A116DB28FDE.jpeg

That is the strap part number. The clasp should be one of the numbers in the pic I posted.

You are so right — sorry for the confusion — the deployant product number is 094521613. It fits great with the cordura strap.

Yes. Blue textile strap and Omega 16mm deployant clasp for CK2998. Clasp No. 94521633. Strap No. CWZ003833. 19mm lug width. 16mm clasp width. There is another deployant in this size in a different finish, but sadly I can’t comment further having not seen it in the flesh.

Disregard my comment. We were typing at the same time. I thought that was a black snoopy

Sadly the iPhone camera distorts the color. Exterior is blue with white stitching and interior is black with blue stitching! 54D69EB1-77AA-4804-B9E5-464854F76455.jpeg 5B94DAC7-79C3-4034-86F8-894444B49537.jpeg E342B356-CA80-4EA7-9E3D-22B97314384B.jpeg 54D69EB1-77AA-4804-B9E5-464854F76455.jpeg

    Superb thank you

My post was a little haphazard so I deleted it in the end as I pieced together info further up the thread

But it looks great, thanks for the info. I’ll likely order these for my CKs too

Thanks for the info guys! Did the price ($230) for both the strap and clasp? Will have to go to the local OB soon then.

Any ideas which watches those 20mm deployants are for?

Wondering aloud if I can mate up your standard aftermarket strap with these.

As long as the length is correct for a deployant strap and its 20mm it will work. If you wanna use a regular buckle and tang style strap and use a folding clasp then it will "fit" it just wont sit correctly on the wrist

Not sure specifically which watches use them but normally straps taper so if it's a 20mm clasp then the strap would normally be either 22mm or 21mm at the lugs.

Thanks. I'm thinking of it more for a custom canvas strap made for my Pyeongchang PO which is a 21mm tapering to 20mm.

The OE strap is 21 tapering to 18mm. I'm thinking a OE deployant is suitable to this canvas as it's quite stiff and there would be no strap overhang.

On the chart the part numbers with an "*" denotes for use with a thicker or 2.7mm to be exact strap. Not sure if it's true but I was told that's for the thicker cordura straps. As long as you are within the 2.7mm you should be all set (keeping in mind deployant straps and buckle and tang straps are diffrent)

Also my snoopy is 18mm at the buckle and it just fits in there very snug. Any bigger would be an issue. Make sure your new strap is true to the listed size.
