    Another watch brand revival.

The cases are made on some of the old machines from the original factory that produced some of the cases we know and love.

    Good Story.

Textured dial, 38mm and screw down crown.

    OK, you've got my attention.

Some will complain about the price but I'd like to compliment them on the design.

It's a dressed up field watch and it's the kind of thing I would design if I had a go at it.

A kind of cross between Omega and Rolex design language.

A strange mix of rugged field watch (case/strap) combined with a 1950s feel dress watch dial.

Not quite my cuppa tea, but maybe if they changed the dial to reflect a more "military" influence.........

This style is not my thing usually but I like these a lot more than I should especially the black/gold.

Now if they would put the Gilt Dial in the polished case and up the diameter to 40-41mm and add a decent bracelet to it, this would make a contender against the Milgaus for me. Different but similar somehow.

    How much are they asking?

    Cheers,

    Max

The textured dial just doesn't live up to the rest of the watch for me

I don't mind the last one. Black textured dials are always nice

I guess I'm one of the very few that thinks they're really awesome watches... Usually not a fan of textured dials but these are OK.
But holy mother of Switzerland are they expensive... Damn swindlers! :whipped:

You'd think that all that cheap (immigrant) labor that invaded the UK for decades would translate into lower prices. They're probably making a lot of profit out of it, or hoping to...

    The straps look beautiful too...

Not so much the dial, but the hands look cheap to me.

I agree - if they had put the same break in the center of the hour and minute hands that they did on the markers, it would make more sense. I also don't like the logo/name being quite so prominent on the dial - it overpowers the dial a bit...

The case is a bit brutish, but I like the look of these, and the size.

Move the price one decimal left though, before I'd consider.

Ooook.... more than $3K??? I think not. I'm seriously tired of these watch startups (of which there are so, so, so many right now) thinking that they are a delicate special snowflake that can charge a seriously exorbitant price for a standard three hand watch with a run of the mill basic ETA movement. This is more than it costs to buy a Nomos with an in-house movement, or a Damasko with an in-house movement, etc.

As others have said - $250-400 and it would be interesting. $3K is a damn joke.

    Absolutely ridiculous.

I agree that the hands look cheap. The proportions with the lume and with respect to the dial are off maybe... and maybe also it's the texture?

I'm also not a fan of the date window. The thin outliner, with the dial texture bleeding in. It should be date window outliner - then straight to the date wheel.

I also agree that it has a mixture of rugged and dress elements.

I really like the general look of these. Was ready to buy one when I first saw them...then I saw the price. Looks like the company is determined to go out of business again. Once you account for the lack of bracelet we're looking at secondhand rolex explorer money.

Also looks like the matte case has a polished crown, which seems like a stupid design oversight.
