Any issues doing this? I been told conflicting stories about demagnetising a COSC watch. Why would it cause any issues? A couple of my watches have been running a tad off the norm over the last couple of weeks and I'd stupidly left them on a speaker box (not realising speaker was in it!) Now I'm paranoid.... I have used one of those little blue boxes on my tissell before and its been fine but does COSC mean don't do it?? I've read some info on COSC but doesn't mention either way. thanks
COSC is the same movement in most cases just adjusted or made to slightly higher tolerances and then officially tested. Why would you not? What’s the reason?
Well this is what I thought but some fella on a Breitling FB page tried to make me look foolish by me asking the question about my COSC watch.....
I’ve got a huge urge to go to that group and argue that the Navitimer 01 is actually a tribute watch.
What...the two have nothing to do with each other... one removed magnetization and the other is an accuracy measurement certification
I've noticed my blue box vibrates quiet a bit when in use. That might be a concern. Perhaps a folded soft cloth between the surface and the watch would be a good idea.
