    Hi All,

    Need some advise here.

Recently bought a 145.022 80s Speedy from Japan, i was puzzle with the 40hrs marker decolourise despite i love the watch so much due to it's character. I might be wrong in other way that this watch was retouched for both the markers and the bezel.

Once again thanks for all your kind knowledge sharing

I would assume that any speedy bezel would ghost...if exposed to the right environment or chemicals.

I don't know what to make of that 8 o'clock marker.

Still, nice looking watch. I'd just wear it and enjoy .

My exact first thought. I was like why is a 68-69 bezel on a dome dial... then looked at the 90...

There was a thread on here about using bleach to fade out the modern bezels. Granted it looks different from the natural ones observed in B2 and before, but I have never seen a post-B2 bezel age like this. I think I'd have to suspect some tampering on this one...

8 looks like it started to turn mossy ( like moss). Rarely it happens to only one marker. 6 and 4 have signs of it.

Actually now that I revisited the link... it looks the same as yous. I guess yours is pretty much artifically bleached. ::facepalm2:: Sorry OP.

On the hour markers... I feel that perhaps there was some sort of water damage before that moved around the lume on the other markers and the 8oclock one might have soaked it up or whatnot. Or maybe it was a bad relume attempt...
