    ... by changeing the subject again. I focussed more on the Omega Brand and will be focussing even more on the Ploprof.
    Thats why i managed to find a second one with a D2 dial, its the one on the left.

    When you say "kick", you mean like with a 120mm smoothbore.

    Steve, you are right.. these watches don´t belong to the "quiet" ones ;-) i have to admit they have "some" wrist presence :)
    sohail, oh there are some Omegas left, but thats just the usual Speedys and Sm300 and some more vintage deep divers :)
    @Varacs Thanks :)

    Nice, I love the vintage Omega divers, especially the Ploprof. As Base says it is very strange they have lost a little value over the last few years, while most other watches have been increasing, but I think they are already on the way back up slowly.
    I love your original bands too.

    I had mine at Omega for complete overhaul which was worth all the money, as I can use it now for watersports like a new one.

    Only I sometimes think I should refit the old dial and hands to get back the oldtimer look. However I am afraid of opening this case without having the special tools for that and to get it closed with no loss of water resistance. Anybody already done that?

    I think first point why they aren´t so "valuable" is that they look sooo special ;) and either you hate it or you love it.
    As i am watching the auctions, you clearly see that the price did even rise a bit to come close to the prices you can find in
    Chrono24. But as always its about condition and originality ;)
    @base, to be honest i find it easier to handle the monoblock cases as the ones with the caseback, i find it pretty easy to take them apart.

    I have taken both my Ploprofs apart (to see the movement numbers etc..) and a good case back opening tool seems to work well, but be carefull not to chip the edge of the glass and you need the whole watch carefully fixed so nothing slips.
    But I personaly wouldn't risk it in the water after re tightening it myself! You should probably replace the seals at least.

    Originals ;)
    Just received another two from Australia,not watchco thou. I bought them from somebody who wanted to sell a Ploprof set which included
    two vintage Isofranes and i managed to convince him to sell the straps to me. Convincing him in this case means a lot of money ;)
