30078CA0-5C99-4B6E-972E-21E0CBD9C90B.jpg Finally put together a decades collection I'm happy with, and I'm a little off for the 50s but it's the closest I'm going to get. Anyone else have a good one?

Sweet Collection. Hopefully more will want to share their Decade Collection.

@Lou P has one. Hopefully he can add a picture in this thread.

I am still on the look out for an 80s era watch. One member posted a lead for me, but once I took a detailed look, it was already sold. Which was fine, as it was aged more like a vintage Ploprof.

I am getting close, but not quite there yet.

Is it just me or does anybody else think the LCD Speedmasters are pretty cool?

It's one for sale in the private sales. Price seems reasonable (even though I am no expert)

Really? Collection getting too large? Plenty of guys round here that would help you thin out your heard (present company included)

Wonderful set @Cad290. Luv your 2998 and white dialed 40th!

    Thanks @Taddyangle , I’m in! Although I don’t have a 50's Speedy, my decade box includes:
    decade 2 IMG_6048.jpg
    - My Dad's ST 105.012-65 Armstrong Moonwatch representing the 60s
    - 176.002 Mark III for that 70’s flared funk
    - 376.0822 Maddox Grail as yours, for the business 80's.
    - Gen 1 X-33 Mars Watch with original twin padded red strap (way harder to find than the watch) for the Shuttle era 90’s
    - Apollo 15 35th for the LE era 2000’s ::bleh::
    - HB-SIA Solar Impulse, which although introduced in 2008 , mine is from 2012. Plus I have a SpeedyTuesday reserved for this summer too which will truly seal the deal for the 2010’s. YaY!

    decade 4 IMG_6068.jpg
Now if I could just win the lottery, schedule an armored car, I take delivery of a collector grade CK 2915! :p

Exactly. I have 30 odd watches which is a bit ridiculous. I need to thin them out, consolidate them, like @watchknut. Maybe a dozen or fifteen really good watches. But I was looking at them the other day and I really couldn't find one I want to sell ::confused2::.

I've been looking for a nice vintage piece to add to my young (small ::shy::) collection. If you decide to let some things go I will definitely take a look.

Too embarrassed to post my "decades collection" but I'm missing an Omega from the 90's and 2010's...you would think those were the easiest to fill.

Honestly, I am all over the place. Lately, I've been on the hunt for a nice vintage panda chrono (been eyeing a triple date Wakmann) Seamaster 300 MC, Vintage Sinn. Like I said, I'm all over the place and am still learning what I like. I do know that I like Speedys. lol
