Dail redone! Case polished. Movement needs service. The best part will be the buckle. IMO

    Hi,
what did you find out about this one?
You already did some posts, be courageous and let us know what you think yourself!

    Basic things:
Is there a reference no - Calibre fit? (No, 14900 is from around 1960 and ought to have a 551)
How about the movement production year? (23 Mio is from 1966)
Is the MOY test Ok? (Slightly out of MOY, font looks problematic)

All kind of Constellation data and tests available at:

    http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.de/
(P.S. You can contribute to Desmonds work by making a donation)

    :)

551 is a non date cal. Since the watch has a date complication, cal. 561 is correct.

If anything can be called correct on that watch ::puke::

I will be able to post some wise stuff in a year or so. I am more relaxed if I see your opinion. I also learn from your points. I have red all the important articles but English is not my mother tongue so I don't remember everything like you guys. I don't want to run into a big scam. The story about calibre 560 shows how complex this market. I know that stupid watch fans can be very annoying and I always appreciate you professional help. Believe me I am a great expert in some fields but I am definitely not rich so I don't want to spend 1500 USD on a franken watch. Thank you. Ps. What kind of donation you mean? To pay for his research. I am more than happy to pay 10 percent if some body advise me on a omega constellation pie pan cross hair watch which I can afford. Thank youn again for your help and attention.

This only proofs that dial AND movement doesn't fit the case. The current state of the watch doesn't mean that it is original

Hi, I think you learn most by researching yourself but that is only my personal point of view.

Why bother putting in all of that time, effort and money to research something when, with a few clicks of a mouse, you can ask others, who have put in the time, effort and money, to do the hard work for you?

The picture of the watch face is so lousy its hard to tell but the watch might be worse than the picture. I would run away and not look back ! Much better watches AND better prices for sale here by the members !

I do it parallel in the meantime. Believe me I rather be an independent decision maker, as I am most of the time, than a beggar. Beggar does not work. Get everyt;)hing free...How beautiful is that.
