This just sold for $999 www.ebay.com/itm/182226557987Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Not to me though sadly! Missed it by a moment. One of those watches that ticks so many boxes, regardless of price. Anyone here the lucky buyer?
Always amazes me that people with no idea what they have sell it as a buy it now on eBay. Seller just lost several thousand.
The serial in the item details section is pretty wacky too, but he curiously he does correctly identify it as from the 60s. Together with that asking price, the only explanation seems to be that the seller was a sandwich short of a picnic. I'm sure the buyer's not complaining though!
Considering the chrono sweep matches the hour and minute. I'm guessing its original. That chrono sweep is spear type and not normally found as a replacement I would think. All the lume looks like it is the same color from hands to face.
Had one of my speedy lum go yellow then (chip / flake maybe )white again...... From theses pics looks original to me
Looks original to me. And effin' A, I can't believe people list these at prices so far below market. Ugh. Hope buyer was OF!
Seller got his or her asking price, so is probably very happy. Part of the fun of this hobby is finding gems like this, and more power to the buyer for getting in first.
This one looked awesome as well: www.ebay.com/itm/131892275276Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network (Didn't get it )
