You don't see this every day and a very early one at that. Can I call this a balanced collection? Cheers
Yes Dead Chuffed is definitely much better than just chuffed. It's like you died and went to heaven. I could be wrong but I don't think there is a higher chuffed than this, unless maybe 2915 chuffed.
Yeah, it's more of a west coast surfer thing, but it was more family friendly than posting "fuckin' A dude!".
just for sh*ts and giggles, barking mad should take a sharpie and hand write some random numbers on the bezel then stick it up on ebay for 10g's. probably look better than some of those "worst redials".
I'm trying to work out what colour the lights flash when you go to 'Dead Chuffed Alert'. I'm leaning toward a rosy glow....
American slang english, wonderful just wonderful And on topic, really nice watch and a great collection
Thanks, the expression actually comes from the UK meaning "very happy" as you probably have already guessed. Mothra, maybe this colour
The 105.002's transitioned from alphas to sticks on a radium dial before the 105.003 came out, just wondering why a 105.003 would have alphas in '63 when the later 105.002s in '62 had sticks
i was was looking as some pics the other day and actually found a 003 with a lower serial than the 002 in the same collection. I also stumbled across an early brochure with a 003 with alpha hands. I suspect that they are original or have been with the watch a long time when you compare the dial patina to the hands. Cheers
looks like the australian sun was the "bezel colour change" culprit.......... very nice;found a good home ! kind regards. achim
I think you need to immediately trade those incorrect alpha hands with me for the correct vintage stick hands.
