    Hi all,

I just stumbled upon a 1973 De Ville Chronograph. I have never seen these before but I do like it, though it needs some work.. The movement seems a bit strange (many different colors of parts). Could it have been assembled?

    What are your thoughts?

I believe the movement is all original. The chronograph parts are traditionally made of a different material than the base and this color difference is normal - unless you mean the chronograph parts have different colors and the pictures aren't good enough to tell.
