HI M bob

I loved the old 1802 smooth bezel...

and a White gold 1803

Fabulous claw dial on the 1802.

Totally agree. The fluted bezel gives the watch a sportier look, whereas, the smooth bezel is far more elegant and classic.

Nothing beats a nice president and plastic is fantastic! Here's our unpolished 1803 with it's blushing tropical haze to the gold.

Hi guys

you should also look at the 1012 and 1013 ref....
full size Oyster Prep. in gold.... the steel version is 1018 .... ( when some people will modify the 8 to look like a 6 and make it a 1016... and put on an explorer dial ... but if you compare as side view with a real 1016 you see the 1016 is a much thicker watch !

good hunting

Yes over on the vintage rolex forum (VRF) our old pal John Ireland avidly collects those references 👍
