Early Longines wrist- and pocket watches often bear an inner case with a particular number of gold medals or Grand prixs. Is there any list existing or could be set one up to see at which years they had how many medals?
This could be helpful to date both watches and accessories.
Were the words "Gold medals" and "Grand" Prixs" used simutenously / do they mean the same?
Thank you for your inputs. Have a nice weekend!
