So on my new Speedmaster racing (2019) I noticed the date changed at 11.45 pm . I figured it would be closer too midnight ? Anyone else see this on any of your watches ? Thanks

Not usually awake late enough to see the date change, but seen this plenty before. If my memory serves me correctly, the 'instant date change' is a marketed feature on Rolex watches. My Seiko's on the other hand start changing at around 9pm and don't finish the whole process until 3am.

Not sure if the same applies to your speedy though. One would assume that if the date is changing instantly 15 minutes early, that the hour hand and minute hand could be synced 15 minutes in advance so that the date change was bang on 12.

Tolerance for the completion of the date change is +/- 10 minutes of midnight, so from 11:50 to 12:10. So yours is out of tolerance if it's done the change at 11:45.

Yes so since it’s new I wonder if omega would adjust it or just wait till it’s service time ?

If it bothers you, ask them to fix it.
