Thanks - her car and she loves it. It's BMW #9 between the two of us. It's xDrive because she has always driven an all wheel drive BMW - her car is always the winter car. She has had 2 325's that were AWD, then an X1, and now the 335. Her cars are getting bigger, and mine are getting smaller. I started out with a couple of 5 series, then two Z4's (last one being a Z4M), and now I have this little thing...128i

Even though there is snow on the ground in these photos I don't drive it in the winter. In fact since I work from home I don't drive it much at all. It's a 2009 that I bought in 2011, and it only had 7,000 kms on it. It now has a whopping 21,000 kms on it...馃榾

Fun little car, and maybe next summer I'll be perking it up a little...need to talk to my mechanic.

Cheers, Al
Those 1-series are really fun cars, friend of mine owns a 135i and treats it like a 1M--very fun! You can do a lot with yours. Sounds like me, I work at home as well and my 2014 335 has maybe 5K mi on it now. Drive it once or twice a week.

I'll try to dig up pics of mine, but its a copy of your wives car really! I believe she also got the M-sport upgrades it looks like (judging by the steering wheel and exterior of the car) ?

Yep - she hates those skinny steering wheels, so the MSport package was a must!

If it's the n52 engine your mechanic's probably not going to be able to help, as to create the artificial power difference between the otherwise identical 325, 328 and 330 they crippled the variable intake system (DISA) to remove 30kw from the 328 and 40kw from the 325.

Then to stop you from retrofitting the 200kw three stage intake they designed the harness and DME specifically to prevent it from being done, so far I've not hear of anyone successfully beating BMW's anti-power pirating measures, and a very smart mate gave up on it in his 328i vert after a lot of money spent.

Oddly enough because all of the 30kw loss is in the intake, all three, the 325, 328 and 330 are compatible with the same F/I kits and make identical power as it removes it from the equation.

Blue dials rule, Jeff!
Orange rally matching chrono hand would be off the chart!
(But I'm not sure what you could wear with it?)

Buck - I think that I can pull that look off!! I'm just going to need a personal trainer, 6 months to get to a size 30 waist, a 10,000 graft hair transplant and a few weeks to grow a suitable beard. Or........I could just wear this one with a comfortable pair of jeans and have another beer!
