Hello, I am looking at this Seamaster Chronometer. I am put off by the lume. Is this evidence of moisture or merely natural aging?

Honestly, I'm put off by the overly-processed photo that doesn't let me see the true/ natural colors. A photo or two in natural light would do wonders for getting a better feel for things. Especially how polished it actually is...

But in general tritium that is black/ moldy-looking is a sign of past moisture.

Agreed. I would want to see an unprocessed photo before judging whether that lume is black.
