Dark Side Of the Moon - Need Longer Strap....

Hi,

I'm new to this site / forum. . . . I have recently purchased a DSOtM and it's fantastic. I could however do with a longer strap... I have visited an Omega shop twice now but they have not come back to me on either occasion so I guess that ordering a strap is not their thing; does anyone know where I can order on myself online and have my local jeweller fit it?

Many thanks in advance to anyone that may be able to assist.

Cheers
John

Omega boutique can order them but you have to buy the full strap. Did you get the newer deployment version one? I just ordered the short leather calf and deployment buckle for my DSOTM to change things up a bit. Not cheap but not much more then the tax on the watch lol. Where are you located?

So as @richard371 brought up it depends on which style of strap your DSOTM came on. If it's the ceramic tang buckle then getting a strap that could accomodate it in the same materials could be tough. Ironically, it's actually easier to get a deploy style strap in the same materials (black cordura outside with black stitching, black leather inside with red stitching) as the construction style is much easier that the tang strap with the large rubber insert and large tang holes to accomodate the thick ceramic buckle.
If you could post a pic of the strap you currently have, as well as you wrist size, suggesting and alternative would be much easier.

They do make the ceramic buckle version of the DSOTM strap in extra long and it isn't even that expensive. Reference number is 032Zsz001956.

Which Omega shop can't be bothered to help you with a strap order?

Can you post photos of this? I'd love to see what it looks like.

Most boutiques stock a ton of straps. The ones with a technician on staff are particularly helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about the boutique eagerness to please customers.

Check out ofrei.com. I bought an OEM DSOTM strap in extra-long from them last year but it was really, really long for my 7.5" wrists. I think i used the 2nd or 3rd to last hole in the strap. It cost me about $180 i think for a brand new one.
