Hi all. I recently bought a lovely memovox from Alpha. It came on a good looking pigskin strap that was just a little too delicate around the buckle for me: I thought it could potentially take a stronger colour, so bought a cheap burgundy strap to try this out (shocking photo, I'm in a cubicle with no natural light at the moment): I think this will work - does anyone agree/disagree, and can anyone point me at a nicer strap in a similar colour with 19mm widths available? Maybe gator?
Cordovan goes well imho, also matches lots of belt and shoe combos Got one from David FoxPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network in Texas, not padded much but find thinner preferable for vintage pieces, and a steal at $30
This is an old scan of a Jim Moose watch and my "stuff". Please excuse the excessive "bling" but red looks great with gold ;-)
My buddy (he is a goldsmith) just bought out an estate of a gem dealer...lots of amazing stones, and in those some star sapphires and star rubies. I have seen lots of star sapphires, but not too many rubies before. He showed me wonderful pink diamond on the weekend also from this buy...very pink and very high quality. Cool stuff.
Star Sapphires, those too, the "Pinky" was a tie-tac that Dad had made into a graduation ring for me. The watch is another Moose watch.
Yes, that would also work.... I've bought a less tapered light tan pigskin as well, so I think ill be trying lots. Do you have a grey suggestion?
