Since this auction site was close by, I was able to get a private viewing today of the watch and give them more info on the watch itself. I met with Nathan, who was a great guy. I told Nathan it would benefit them to remove the case back and take pictures of the movement and the inside of the case back and post them on the auction page. Once the case back was removed, I was able to point out the movement number, serial number, and the movement date code, which dates the movement to 1941. The serial number dates the case to 1942. I was able to get a few picks on the wrist and next to my Speedy 145.012-68 for reference. We also measured the case at 32mm w/o crown and 34mm with crown. The watch looks a lot better in person than the pictures. It was a fun afternoon trying on a former President's watch!
