··Sunburst dial fanIn very nice condition for what I understand to be a 1979 watch.
It is a manual wind watch which I purchased from a seller who said that he was the original owner. It winds and sets easily and runs well and accurately with a good power reserve.
The lume is bright.
6645 is the NATO Group/Class number. Group 66 is Instruments & Lab equipment. Class 45 (6645) is Time Measuring Instruments.
99 is the code for the United Kingdom
523 - 8290 is a non-specific number assigned at the time of ‘codification' to an item of supply by the country’s relevant NATO codification bureau.
466 is probably the serial number to enable the unit to record the issue to a particular soldier.

I was thrilled to buy in in 2020 but rarely wear it and have decided to move it on. It will come with the perlon strap.
