    I’ve recently stumbled on (and fallen in love with) Curta mechanical calculators. Is anyone else aware of (and totally enamoured by) these things? It’s an entirely mechanical calculator from the 1950s that operates strictly on gears and bearings and can be used to process pretty much any type of calculation (once you figure out how to use it). I think this will have to be my next purchase from the watch fund...

    I see no patina, those have to be redials.

    If they come with a pepper grinder complication that would be very interesting. :whistling:
    Seriously, never heard of them but makes perfect sense for these to become an interest for a deep technical watch guy.
